What if Im Pregnant? If you are pregnant, make sure to tell your doctor, so he/she can take the proper measures before proceeding with the x-rays. X-Rays are relatively safe, though they do produce a small output of radiation, and your dentist or doctor can place an iron apron over your belly to shield the baby from any radiation.
